Permission to Pull Back

"Energy is contagious, so choose people who lift you up,
not those who bring you down."
Lucy Connors

Awareness can be best described as paying attention to who and what surrounds you with acknowledgment of how you feel. Basically, it is knowing what increases your happiness and what takes it away. A vital sensor is your gut and how it reacts to people, places, and things. Your mind may be telling you one thing, but your gut can disagree.

Flash back to dating. You met someone who was sexually appealing, dressed great, and engaged easily; however, your belly was churning, clearly not aligning with your thoughts. If you respected these inner nudges, you may have side stepped heartache. The same holds true whether engaging in business, connecting with medical professionals or legal resources.

Additionally important, your respect for the reactions of children to adults is vitally important. Yes, there are times you can calm ruffled feathers, but the more you listen to your gut, the stronger your senses grow. No matter what 'hoopla' is assigned to a person or place, if it doesn't feel right, give yourself permission to pull back.
