"The answer to control is practicing surrender."
Madisyn Taylor

Surrender can be quite curious as we associate a variety of emotions and actions to this word.  To some, it may mean servitude, acquiescing, chains, or squelched. Underneath, there is a layer of fear.

Surrender, however, can be an exciting challenge ending with a new makeover emotionally or spiritually.  We are called to surrender to the mystery of life which ultimately leads to freedom or expansion.  It is when we allow trust to trump fear.

When we no longer tense up or become rigid or paralyzed by fear,  we allow our body, mind, and spirit to see into the magic of life.  New opportunities or original ideas or extensive creativity may swarm into our consciousness, leaving us filled with passion and not tension.
