"An invisible thread connects those who are destined to meet,
regardless of time, place, and circumstance.
The thread may stretch or tangle. But it will never break."
Ancient Chinese Proverb
An invisible grid is how I like to refer to the unseen network hovering above us. We may be like strangers passing in the night, but at some point the inevitable happens ... our threads cross to form a stitch in the tapestry of life.
I am uncertain as to who the keepers of the thread might be. The control may rest with Divine Spirit or be shared with angels or Mother Nature. The word synchronicity is often used to describe the chance meeting or maybe fate or destiny. The source is not as important as the exchange between fellow strangers who ultimately impact each other.
Complex and inspirational contact may transpire in the briefest of meetings. The depth of unspoken words may not register with us until a later time. A flashback to a stranger's comment may finally make sense. A glance, words shared, or spontaneous actions trigger a shift within us without supplying a language to appropriately describe the incident. Truly, nothing happens by accident.
