Night Noises and Being Alone

"Well I just sat there and had a great time all by myself ...
Not even many night noises ...
just the wind ....
Georgia O'Keefe

If you do not peacefully relate to the term night noises, you are running through life too quickly.  If you are addicted to action whether in sports or work, you need to slow down before God slows you down.  Yes, being in the zone is a miraculous feeling, but you can experience far more when you can sit alone.

If you are uncomfortable sitting still, you are not taking in your surroundings or paying attention to an expanded slice of life.  When you begin to notice nature, you will begin to slow down.  First you observe and then begin to notice a deeper sense which ultimately lulls you into an awareness of Divine presence.

Your mind will relish the peace and quiet of stillness.  Incredible images will bubble up to the surface which helps you to evaluate the chosen speed of your life.   You become aware of what needs to be released to make room for your authentic self.  You then become comfortable being alone with who you are and your beautiful spirit shines through.
