THIS WILL SET ME FREE
I have had the privilege of meeting a woman who created a million dollar business. She could afford to live exclusively and her clothes were those of high society. She knew people of the higher ranks and traveled in circles I can only read about. The sad part was her heart was still wounded from when she grew up in absolute poverty. Money could not produce the inner security which she emotionally craved. She kept her past hidden, let no one inside and her true self remained captive.
The cords that bind us are often emotional or delusional. The boundaries keeping us captive can be the mind casting shadows. Either way, the fear pounding within us prevents healthy movement forward. One used to hope for a knight from the castle on a white horse or for the hunter from the woods of Little Red Riding Hood; but today, money is falsely seen as the answer to all things.
We live in rotating cycles and each of us experience them in differing ways. The constant, however, is looking out side of our lovely selves for healing, security, and freedom to be who we were always hoping to be. It matters not if we are rich or poor. Resolution is found during the inner journey towards discovery and love of the self.
