"Peace is already here, regardless of any
internal or external circumstances."
Gangaji
We will be at peace when we ... find the right job; love the right mate; build the best house; bring a baby into the world; and have enough money. Statistics reflect that none of these accomplishments bring eternal peace. The ironic part is that peace is not outside of ourselves, but within. We are looking in the wrong places!
Peace is a constant within us if we choose to cultivate it. Our body, mind, and spirit can learn to first turn inward towards a sense of calm. To withdraw, even with just a breath, can touch the sweet spot of comfort. There is the need to build and project, but our return is peaceful when we are based in this tranquillity.
Our physical form on earth has intentions that will be challenged in numerous ways. The wind blows, we wander off the path; storms pound, we seek shelter; lack of manifestation, we give up. It is all a part of the human experience. If we but navigate from our core where peace resides, we will continue to be challenged, but our responses will be lined with peaceful intentions. Be what you seek.
