"We must enhance the light, not fight the darkness."
A. D. Gordon
Every experience you have had during this lifetime contributes to who you are. Every joy and each sorrow create an indentation in your persona. What we do with it ... whether become arrogant or maudlin ... depends upon our willingness to bend or break. As we learn to digest the tainted with the sweet, we become whole.
Taking our strength and dysfunction forward, continuously absorbing new insights, our unique existence deepens. In time, we not only learn to honor the lesson, but become aware of the knowledge to be shared. Family secrets do not heal family cycles. Minimizing abuse does not improve situations.
If we no longer regard ourselves as damaged, and use our voice to selectively share personal information, not only do we grow, but others do as well. Once we realize we have value from life experiences, we can openly embrace the lessons shared by others. The purpose is to gain positive momentum as we step into the light out of our darkness.
