"The most confused you will ever get is when you try to
convince your heart and spirit of something your mind knows is a lie."
Shannon L. Alder
While engaging with others, we might feel an uneasiness in our belly. The subject matter might be upsetting, or we may have just picked up on an inconsistency from a previous conversation. There is a need to be flexible and open, but when our reaction is discomfort, our inner self may be trying to alert us.
There is a difference between an inconsistency and an out and out lie. If we are noticing a deliberate falsehood, there may be a need to explore this individual. Are they who they pretend to be? Are they consistent or do they change opinions from one scenario to another? Do they create confusion from one situation to the next?
As plants grow and develop, they may need fresh soil or a larger pot. The same is true for us. We may need to enrichen resources to explore fresh beginnings. As we move forward, we meet new people who can expand our horizons. This does not mean we have to end other relationships, but perhaps just adjust them. Loosen this knot of confusion.
