"Many of us are experiencing a phase of change, shedding outdated patterns
and liberating ourselves from the old by moving on to the new."
Shari Arison
Transition is a process. Pieces needing to be removed may come off in strips, individual particles or in one harsh movement. Removal of what needs to be adjusted can be painful if we are not prepared or experienced as relief upon completion at last. And this is just the beginning.
Time is needed to heal the sore spots; the red area left in exposure. They may be ever so tender to new exposure. Slow steps are taken to begin a gentle layering of newly chosen replacements. One must be careful as to what is planted in this fertile new ground. Emotions need to be settled to choose new with clarity.
When time slowly passes, only then do we fully appreciate the renovation. Our eyes see with clearer vision and the horizon does not look quite as hazy. This new phase may have a great deal of uncertainty, but rebirth is felt in having a new path. There can be freedom in not having all of the answers and joy embedded in arising curiosity.
