Experience, Ponder, and Then Proceed

"Our strength will continue if we allow ourselves
the courage to feel scared, weak, and vulnerable."
Melody Beattie

Emotions push up through solid boundaries like a new seedling searching for air above ground.  Our ego snags and deliberates how long to contain it.  We cannot prevent emotion, but mastering control over it determines how to remain balanced and afloat.

When we explore our own dark emotions, our personal light brightens the way.  It is beneficial to observe how deeply we are pierced by our chosen reactions, and to acknowledge the best steps to healing.  It is vitally important to not numb our hearts to what we experience, but rather have the courage to understand with forward movement.

We can acknowledge emotions, then apply wisdom from the courage we have used in our past.  We can believe we have the power to seek out the lesson.  Once recognized, we have the insight as to how to proceed with minimal emotional damage.  With established courage, we can experience, ponder and then proceed.
