“Wherever I am, the world comes after me.
It offers me its busyness. It does not believe
that I do not want it. Now I understand
why the old poets of China went so far and high
into the mountains, then crept into the pale mist.”

Every individual needs a special place or a designated area where one feels safe and free. A significant spot we can call our own where we can just be without expectations or fear of judgement. A cubby hole, a nook or cranny where we can safely breathe.
There are cultures that lack food and shelter, fearing for life itself. Families killed or separated, severely wounded physically, emotionally and spiritually, struggling to stay alive. The only shelter they have are the recesses of their minds.
Please join me in holding these warring nations in our hearts, sending love, light, and energy into the hearts of the innocent people, especially the children. For all of those in need, I pray for nourishment of the mind, body and soul.
