"Surely only boring people went in for conversations consisting of questions and answers.
The art of true conversation consisted in the play of minds."
Ved Mehta
Questions and answers produce a rhythm within conversations. It is a method of learning, but so is deep exploration between others reflecting personal experiences and beliefs. The method of questions and answers takes us along the surface, perhaps building a bridge for us while explorations are off the beaten path.
Deep conversations offer a reflection of several viewpoints joined into one, peppered with personal interpretation. It takes us into areas that we may have never ventured on our own. While we contribute into the conversation, information stems from our collection of thoughts and impersonations.
Responses in depth helps the conversation to flow even beyond expectation. Often, it provides new pathways that we had not noticed previously. The sharing of two minds whether in agreement or not create provide challenges and new perceptions. The mind is exercised in a verbal play of thoughts.
