"My thoughts come and go. My emotions rise and fall."
Meditate and Love
When we release our efforts to control and simply choose to be present, there is a relaxed space to dwell. In this stillness without judgment, opinions are not required. When we balance our six senses rather than mainlining thoughts, there is input that soothes the soul. There comes a peace where we can just be.
Staying in the moment allows us to appreciate what is right before us. We experience gratitude for what we have rather than longing for what is not ours. Emotions will continue to rise, and fear will try hard for our attention, but if we stay the course forward movement increases the life experience.
Our simple focus allows us to continue into the unknown trusting that joy and fulfillment will return after sorrow. Courage is needed to progress but most importantly paying attention is necessary. Catch the wandering critic before it invades. Acknowledge negativity but then let it go. Gravitate towards the good, knowing that it will unfold.
