"We are not our decisions and no decision is
wrong
because we made the choice with the information at hand."

We can scan our past errors, but if we do, we will benefit if we include how the consequences shaped us. If we truly made a bad decision long ago, we must also look at who we were at the time. Certainly we did not have the insight and knowledge that is available to us today.
When we are faced with challenge, energy does not have to be wasted on labeling the opportunity as right or wrong, but rather how we will choose to face it. What is in our best interest? What action will benefit most people?
If our decision backfires, we need to accept responsibility for our behavior, but not to classify our totality as wrong. Mistakes are made by everyone, but that does not make our essence wrong. These situations in our lives are to help us evolve and grow. The challenges shape us and form integrity.
We are inherently good at the core, but as human beings we are faced with decisions that we are not always prepared to successfully complete. Life is a school where we are all learning. Sometimes we are the student and other times we are the teacher.
Embracing the task at hand we strive to continue to put our best foot forward. Let us endeavor to tread lightly upon this hallowed ground, learning from each other as we make this journey bound for home.
