The Self

"The self is not something ready-made, but something in continuous
formation through choice of action."
John Dewey

We have an inner substance just waiting to take shape and form. Although we are filled with buried wisdom, we gaze outside of ourselves in search for identity. We are spiritual beings experiencing life on earth. and seek acceptance outside of us, somewhat ignoring ever present authenticity.

We scan the faces of others retaining who or what they think we should be, allowing their expectations to override our inner identity. Outer knowledge is valuable but never becomes more important than our inner knowing. In human form, our identity is calculated and manipulated by outside sources.

Our inner light stretches and conforms respecting the human experience but consistently makes itself available. We receive nudges, synchronicities and blessings without connecting them with spirits, angels, or the Divine. Navigating our emotional experiences, we hopefully make choices that align with our inner beauty and awareness.
