In Front of the Mirror

"You'll never know who you are unless you shed
who you pretend to be."
Vironika Tugaleva

We would not know what good feelings were if we did not experience the bad. It is through this contrast that we hone our image. It is only when we trust our own worth that we begin to fulfill our expectations rather than those of others. Striving for resonating achievements moves us from fear to accomplishment.

Stand in front of a mirror without mind chatter. Setting judgment aside, see the self through gentle eyes. Can we remember with clarity who this is in the reflection? There may have been numerous versions of the self, but what one would mean the most to us now? What can be done to restore our desire and drive us to capture our best sense of self?

When we openly love ourselves, all of the energy used to stifle our fears and serve others, can be repurposed into creating new beginnings. Reach inside and feel the child's heart filled with goodness and wonderment. With these loving feelings, turn towards a new life of authenticity.
