Flight

"Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving
forward. If you want to fly, you have to give
up what weighs you down."
Roy T. Bennett

Spring is coming and all of nature is showing us it is soon to be time to fly! We need to prepare now, gently spreading our wings in preparation for flight. Lingering shadows need to be exposed, cobwebs cleaned out and negativity set aside. Aspects of the self require refurbishing to increase power for ascent.

We can address the physical by doing morning stretches with yoga or pilates or getting outside for a simple walk.  A healthier diet might also assist us in preparation. Best yet are meditations, visualizations and reconnections with mentors. Create a consistent sleep routine and monitor dreams.

Demonstrating all of these changes, we move forward. Personal power increases and we find our lovely selves expanding both internally and externally. We are prepared to listen and to be heard. With curiosity we allow ourselves to be lifted into uncharted terrains. All is good in our world and we are perfectly prepared to fly!

Projecting Desires

"Never let your mind talk you out of your dreams, trick you into giving up."
Roy T. Bennett

In dreams, we allow ourselves to create fantasies filled with limitless creativity. We project desires of how we want to live, be seen, and contribute. Perhaps, our vision is only half-believable, but there is joy in the projection of possibility. We may be clueless as to how these scenarios can actually become reality, but we maintain faith in the Universe.

Positive energy attracts more of the same. So if we do not keep our dreams hidden, we can continuously attract aspects to build upon. When our dreams begin to appear in real time, our mind may limit the impact by disbelief. If we entertain thoughts of not being worthy of the miracle before us, well then, it simply may slip away.

When we rigidly describe our dreams, progress may be slow. It is when we remain open to experiencing them on various levels, they can present in unsuspecting ways. Fear or inability to embrace joy will  tamper the depth of our dreams. Fantasies held in a loving heart flourish; whereas, dreams cloistered in the mind falter. Hold high the dream!

Happening Right Now

"Your Life is Happening Right Now:   Don't let procrastination
take over your life. Be brave and take risks.
Your life is happening right now."
Roy T. Bennett

As I browsed through mantras of encouragement and understanding, a certain theme continued to surface. I would say to my self, "Oh, I need to send that to _____ !"  Repeatedly, words appeared before my very eyes for a long time before I caught on.

The themes were meant for me and I was avoiding them as fast as I could. Granted, they pertained to old happenings I had long forgiven, but apparently emotional  remnants remained.  As though dredging through the remains of a fire, I filtered out splinters still causing pain. Once removed, I cleansed my body with loving light, restoring my goodness to where I thought it had been.

Yes, indeed, we need to share, but if we are truly aware, we will see our own reflections as well.  Right now, in this moment, life is trying to heal us through nature, art, relationships and self-discovery.  We must listen to our own words as well as words of others. Without fear, we have the choice to face and love who we are meant to be.
