Wander and Be Alive

"To wander is to be alive."
Roman Payne

Walk out of your front door right now.  When you reach the sidewalk, turn whichever way the wind is blowing.  Before you cross the street, observe the clouds above, then go in the same direction.  Let your forehead be warmed by the sun, and your feet embrace the earth.

Have no destination, just keep walking.  Unclench your hands and let all that is familiar fade away.  Notice things you have been too busy to appreciate.  Hear the laughter of a child or the song of a bird. Smell fragrances offered by the trees.

Be a child again, noticing all of the colors surrounding you.  You will come across a welcoming rock or bench to sit and enjoy a moment of nothingness.  Close your eyes and let physical boundaries give way to becoming one with all of the thriving abundance in our flowering world.
