"There are as many worlds
as there are kinds of days,
and as an opal changes its colors
and its fire to match the nature of the day,
so do I." John Steinbeck
In our youth, our days are dictated by the routines of parents and education; in our adult years, our days are orchestrated by family routines and career. As we age, we begin to create a rhythm that begins to resonate with our desires.
The better we can define ourselves, our living styles surface with greater distinction. No longer abiding by tradition or modern decor, we design an atmosphere emotionally and physically fitting. Comfort abounds by the affect of what we hold to be dear.
What we gather, gives meaning to our life and perception. Art, antiques or books can bring color into the dim hue of a day. Passion ignites when tending a thriving garden or sharing an array of freshly baked bread. Creative expression, no matter what form it takes, brings color to the canvas of a life well lived.
