Inaccurate Words

"Your vision will become clear only when you can
look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams;
who looks inside, awakens."
Carl Jung

Deep in conversation, we hear ourselves state with clarity our dream; while on the inside, there is a dawning that these visions no longer live in our hearts. For numerous reasons, we change, but we may find ourselves clinging to old expectations out of a false sense of comfort. It is time to go within prior to recreating new dreams.

Our soul values learning that results in progress towards fulfilling life purpose. As we are guided forward, we encounter discord as well as positive discovery. Both will teach us and propel our attention forward towards new visions.  In time, we begin to see the dawn beyond the darkness filling us with delight.

When our actions are in alignment with our inner aspirations, there is an increase in passion and motivation. Dreams need to be constantly revisited, adjusting to our heart's desire. As inspiration opens to new scenarios, coincidences occur as affirmations of progress. When we are filled with stimulation and authentic purpose, we enter again into powerful dreams.

Application of What We Know

"Please remember it is what you are that heals,
not what you know."
Carl Jung

The interconnection between body, mind, and spirit is highly documented by many professionals in science, psychology and spirituality.  The mental disruptions within our minds, trigger dis-ease in our bodies.  If we are not spiritually connected with a higher dimension of support, we can sink into the depths of depression and illness.

Like a garden not tended, our inner strengths can dissipate with the arrival of a storm.  If our roots are not deeply planted we can easily succumb to the challenges we face.  We may be steeped in wisdom, but if we cannot apply what we know, we will falter.

Negative perceptions accumulated over time can distort our reality impacting us physically.  Our bodies listen to everything we say and takes our comments at face value.  One of the best practices to have is to envision ourselves as our body being strong and healthy.  We can picture our lovely body, covering it with love and light from top to bottom.  Our intention can be of health and strength  ... body, mind, and soul!

Flag Day and Hoodwinked

"Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep
down below the surface of the average conscience a still
small voice says to us something is out of tune."
Carl Jung

The American flag hangs half-mast in my heart.  It hasn't always been that way, but anymore there seems little reason to be prideful.  From kindergarten through eighth grade the Pledge of Allegiance was recited without fail or ever a slur of words.  Then Viet Nam brought terrible destruction to human beings who are still suffering.  Destruction upon unsuspecting humans with 9-11 leaving scars. The violent damage of war continues to impact the bodies, minds, and spirits of soldiers and separate those who once stood beneath the one flag.

As a citizen of the United States and the freedom it brings, I find myself to be continuously disillusioned by the responses of 'we the people'.  The altering symbolism of the Statue of Liberty;  the disrespectful response to immigrants established in our country; our disregard as a  respected nation or the inappropriate reflections of the government, impacts the sense of pride.

Where is the clarity between the government elected and the people they are meant to serve?  At least now everyone is trying to cleanse both the left hand and the right hand. Can we truly continue to point our fingers at others while ignoring the cries of our own children? Our flag needs to be respected and fly high, and  'we the people' can no longer allow ourselves to be hoodwinked!

Irritations and Understandings

"Everything that irritates us about others
can lead to us to an understanding of ourselves."
C.G.Jung

The world ... physical, emotional, and spiritual ... communicates with us daily, but too frequently we are not listening. If there were a knocker on every door of opportunity, we would be driven crazy by the pounding. If we would merely consider  broader possibilities, we just might be overwhelmed.

As human beings, we simply tune out.  We yearn for answers, we beg for insights and we wait for our preconceived responses.  When answers are not dressed as we want them to be, we miss the very guidance we seek.

Watch how a couple interacts and notice a resentment building inside our selves.  How does the scene apply to us?  Specifically, what is causing our emotions to stir?  Does this mini scene reflect rude conversation, control issues or disrespect?  Once identified, the trigger helps us to understand what irritates our lovely selves and our own relationships.
