Limited Reflections

When we choose to identify with limitations and past failures, the outcome will fall short of what it could be. Negative thinking restricts our success. The sad part is half of the time, we are totally unaware of our negative mind chatter. Totally uncensored, our criticism of the self runs rampant. We judge ourselves, often times cruelly. 

If we choose to listen to our heart rather than the ego, life would be more fulfilling. If we believed in ourselves and opened to options, loneliness would dissipate. The image of our self that we hold in our mind is selective, not fairly showing the whole scape of capabilities. It is restrictive and debilitating. 

Make a list of unique traits. Keep it in a journal or on the phone to view often. The heart is aware of these strengths and the more we remind ourselves, the faster we will stretch into a happier state of being. The only thing standing in the way of expansion is the self. Get out of the way and lead with the heart.

Embrace the Unknown

Within days, we will begin the exploration into new territory, while embracing the unknown.  We will need empty hands, an open heart, and a willingness to be still.  If we trust our inner voice, we will come into contact with deepened imagination and heightened vision.

While we welcome and embrace a fresh start, set aside judgment of both the self and others. Notice what is different  when you view with an open mind and a willingness to understand. We may not always agree with incoming information, but we are still called to listen and be present.

We will not deepen the experience of life if we are consistently unaware of the sacred surrounding us.  If we are grounded in our self, we are able to embrace the unknown with the ability to flow in and out of segments occurring before us.  

Keep Going

Catch the lovely self prior to complaining, as so many others face challenges we cannot really begin to understand.  Do not even begin to explain, as everyone is distracted by their personal worries and difficulties. It is not necessary to even try to defend the self, as no one is truly present nor appropriately listening.   No need for excuses as everything, and I mean everything is blamed on Covid or politics.

Keep going, I tell myself, as the days slowly fade away and I unintentionally slide backwards in my thoughts, acts, and deeds.  Stretch the body to keep a sense of comfortable movement.  Harvest favorite books taking space on the shelf.  If there isn't enough effort for creative activities, at least try to make a collage.  

Push forward, gaining traction beneath the feet to face every day challenges.  Freshen up the heart with starbursts and hugs.  Rekindle any drop of passion, building upon the light needed to see beyond any darkness.  Keep going, as surely goodness waits, straight ahead.

In search of an apartment, I was radiating happiness when a perfect spot appeared. An especially dear friend and I were wearing Witch hats and costumes as it was Halloween day and thank goodness she knew the landlord.    Another sister of my heart stated she was not surprised that I had found perfection as I had been consistently pinning images of spaces offering yard, fireplace, and windows on Pinterest!  I was drawing these things to me.

When we visualize our desires, it is important to make them flexible as God will frequently be more generous.  If we harbor dark negative expectations, the Universe says, "Yes, we can provide that!"   The Universe, angels, God, whomever is at the center of life eagerly responds to what is in our best interest.  Sometimes the proposed dream fails as there is a better plan a little further down the path.

There is no harm in being creative with our thoughts and desires.  Creative Visualization is no different from creative writing or painting.  Trust there is order and provisions in life waiting for the mind to be open to an amazing personal life!
