"Strength is found in the quiet moments where we
challenge ourselves without the world watching."
Ava King
Never have I walked a straight line. There has been a tendency for me to wobble while I question my sense of direction. Roads before me rarely have the lure that the unsuspected pathways offer. Strangers have been everywhere, but they quickly become interesting to me. My old boots have walked me across time and space.
Life taught me that having confidence did not necessarily mean arrogance. The more one knew, the more comfortable one could become and present with humility. When one learned patience, hope leaned in closer from the horizon. I learned that peace was readily found in lingering silence.
Extending kindness to others is emotionally rewarding when there are no expectations for return favors. To give without interest in receiving allows compassion to fully flow. As acceptance is perceived in shifting eye exchanges, stability releases all forms of language that previously had been unspoken.
