May Day Excitement

"Spring will come and so will happiness.
Hold on. Life will get warmer."
Anita Krizzan

May Day has finally arrived, and although we may not be dancing around a Maypole, singing with others or participating in a festival, we can utilize small ways of creating a special day. Gather simple flowers, light a candle, and embrace inspiration to revitalize the soul.

In the late 20th century in Europe and North America, the tradition of giving May baskets originated.  The gesture of leaving collected flowers, anonymously, on a friend's porch can trigger joy.  Perhaps a note or a book left in a mailbox would be fun as well.

These opportunities awaken childhood excitement and generate a sense of healthy connection.  Our chaotic world needs us to reinstate bonding and connection.  Our positive actions will lift vibrations and soothe disruption.
