Entering the Quiet

"Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet. It is a way
of entering into the quiet that is already there ~ buried under
the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day."
Deepak Chopra

Meditation is a safe space where anxiety and depression are lessened if not paused. We are able to experience a oneness that can be shared by all. It can be challenging to let go of human identity which allows us this meditative experience of simply 'being'. One does not need a guru or specific temple to be present with the meditative self.

When quietly going within, we can experience a true sense of self where we can regain clarity. All busyness falls away, allowing inspiration to speak quietly to us. Guidance can be sensed and we feel restored. It prepares us for the given moment, the content of another day, or projected future.

Thoughts will ebb and flow while we continue with conscious breathing. We become anchored within while establishing this connection or communication. This is freely offered to us whether we have thirty minutes or ten. The more meditation is practiced, the deeper the experience becomes.
