"Self-worth is not subject to external factors;
self-worth is what you think about yourself."
Scarlet Miles
When we are raised to think small, it takes time to build awareness of self-worth and even longer to cultivate direction. It is when we can embrace the truth of our importance, the opinions of others have less impact. Reaching to be who you are not is a waste of who you truly are meant to be.
When we notice how we feel after achievement, motivation gains clarity. If we were sharing our best, authentically invested, and heart centered, our feelings will support our gestures and integrity whether successful or not. External factors may roar, but focusing on personal potential that aligns with our skill guides us towards our sense of worth.
Whether using a daily journal or a weekly ledger, recording our efforts will maintain our thrust forward. Definition comes from within. Jotting down small efforts are important not only in the moment, but when assessing the larger picture as well. Emphasis aught not be about proving the self as we already have inner qualities that can make us shine.
