Fewer Masks

"Having perfected our disguise,
we spend our lives searching for
someone we don't fool."
Robert Brault

Extensive energy is used when we try to anticipate what others want from us.  We explore the possibilities and then must record our choice to memory so we can retain the role we play.  The roles of others differ in that some require our servitude, adoration, sacrifice, and total agreement.

Life can be exhausting when we are dedicated to the pleasures of others.  Our intention is to be seen and accepted, but engaging in a false relationship rarely produces anything but dissatisfaction.  We go to extremes to win someone over only to realize we can be readily replaced by any other dolt.

The energy we have ideally defines who we are.  When we become a woman of substance, we will attract the relationships we desire.  Yes, some will turn away, but the fewer masks we wear, the more authentic we grow reflecting kindness and goodness of the soul.
