"You are not your brain."
Schwartz Gladding
Our body is the vehicle in which we transport the inner self. The brain is our GPS guiding us to the best of its ability. There is need to regulate the care of the body through maintenance, fuel and directive. But what of the inner spirit who has come here to complete and enhance purpose?
We get lost in the rush of success or overcome by greed altering our authentic mission. If we do not remain consistently aware of our spirit's desire, too easily we distance ourselves from authentic purpose. All of our senses are overloaded by elements that do not support our mission when we do not soothe and feed the soul.
It matters not who we are when we are living in alignment. It is not the achievement in itself, but the means by which we attained it. Were we kind, involved others, listened and recognized our inner voice, and respected fellow travelers? At the end of the day, peace will come to those who have navigated from within not singularly from the brain.
