The True Home

In the cave of the heart, the true I
Radiates alone with a subtle light:
The one essence shining forth without defect ~
Blissful consciousness of Being.

Inquiry into the "I'

For many years, my focus was on "Who am I?" while discovering what part I was playing in the greater theater of the Universe.  My attempt to identify myself with worldly labels left me empty lacking a sense of passion.  Upon realizing all I was seeking resided within me, satisfied my yearnings and allowed me time to explore my gifts and how I was to use them.

The other day a friend remarked about the difference between helping and serving and it is a point worth sharing.  When you help someone, there is occasion to become an enabler or to become a barrier to a lesson the person needs to experience.  In serving, a person is assisting and empowering the other person.  The individual is led to a higher understanding, actualizing personal growth.  It is no longer about 'me' anymore, but it is about how Divine Spirit can best use me to serve others.

Instead of using my energy to be seeking from outside of myself, I sit filled with bliss just being connected to the radiant inner light of my soul.  This is the true home.  This stillness is the source of comfort and hope.  The whispers of the soul create vivid images of inspiration and flight.  There is no better place to be.

Extending Light

The multisensory personality sees Divinity or God or Divine Intelligence or whatever word it chooses to use for this, as Light.  It sees those through whom Divinity flows consciously, such as the Christ, the Buddha, and Krishna, as beings of Light, beings of wholeness, integration, and completeness.

THE SEAT OF THE SOUL

Light is energy and light as Divine Energy is in all things ... both living and inanimate objects.  Auras of energy or light can be seen around plants as well as human beings.  If a rock is held in our hand or if we sit on a large boulder, eventually we will begin to feel energy coming from the formation.   All elements of life have energy or light:  water, air, fire, and earth.

So if we can sense the presence of light or God in all things and all beings, we are called to treat everyone and every thing honorably or with respect.  If we maintain the awareness of Divine being present, our actions are called to a higher level of relating.

Violence or harsh reactions attract very abrasive energy over shadowing the light within us.  When we allow our light to stay strong, we operate on a higher frequency or more compatible vibration.

As an energy worker (Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master) I use light every day.  I send light or energy to those who are challenged or to those whom I love dearly.  The more I use energy, the stronger my light grows which allows me to extend light out into the world.

Light can be thought of as Divine Energy or prayer or love as it takes on many forms.  As we open our hearts and let our light shine from within we attract more light and make our surroundings a better place to be.  Let us be more deliberate in extending our light as it not only  improves the well being of others, but our own sense of joy, as well.

Extending Assistance

The Road
Here is the road: the light
comes and goes then returns again.
Be gentle with your fellow travelers
as they move through the world of stone and stars
whirling with you yet every one alone.
The road waits.
Do not ask questions but when it invites you
to dance at daybreak, say yes.
Each step is the journey; a single note the song.

Too easily we forget that everyone we come in contact with struggles with life and life's lessons just as much as we do.  From the outside, it may appear that everyone else has a life of good fortune or ease, but indeed this is not the case.  Outer appearances can mask the true journey within.

There is this certain friend of mine who I swear has a direct link to the angels or is an angel in disguise.  Her life is filled with experiences like assisting someone during a fire or catching a baby bird as it falls from a tree.  She is the living definition of a 'verb'.  Spirit seems to be moving her at all times where she may reach out with a helping hand ... definitely she is not a noun, sitting like a lump.

My friend has problems of her own as part of the human experience, but she recognizes that we will all prosper by helping some one else when we can.  By extending assistance to others, my friend maintains a compassionate heart.  Her positive affirmative actions with others keep her moving forward rather than isolated in singular despair.

We journey through life with individual lessons, but when we are called to action, to spontaneously help some one we meet along the way, and we answer that call, our inner light grows stronger.  Our connection with others brings the light of Spirit
into the hearts of all.
