Touch and healing have been linked together for centuries worldwide. The mystery and superstition around healing touch have been diminished as increased interest and application have been drawing energy work as a healthy practice no longer linked to just a few. It is widely used now with Western Medicine as prevention and intervention.

The ability to touch assists in reducing if not eliminating both physical and emotional pain. Doctors across the country as well as nurses are known to regularly use a form of touch as a healing element. Learning to balance human energy is not a high-tech application. The process of learning is easily learned.

Energy work can impact human conditions both physically and emotionally. Based on the belief that our thinking process contributes to the body's dis~ease it is important to be aware of emotional upset or triggers. The goal is to align the body, mind, and soul. Energy work often engages with the recipient for successful return to health.

Each and every individual has the ability to heal if they would just get out of their own way.  Energy flowing through one's body can unclog tangles allowing energy to course freely.  Our bodies are made of energy and they are surrounded by energy.  Healing is as natural as singing a lullaby or cradling a babe to be rocked in our arms.

Our bodies cease to generate light when they become tarnished from lack of self care and appropriate self talk.  The more positive our thoughts, the more resistance we have to energy that slows us down or harms us.

Simply pick a focus point like God or the Universe ... anything in nature ... and ask silently for positive energy to be shared.  Open the heart and the mind and embrace the vibration coming towards the body or down through the body.   Let it completely wash accumulated energy out of the body and begin to embrace the cleansing energy to fill every crevice up, and allow the excess to spill upon Mother Nature or to build an aura around the body.  We are the light and the healer.

Energy workers maintain a connection with some form of universal power outside of themselves.  It can be a relationship with a patron saint, angels or divinity, animals or any form of nature.  The relationship expands and contracts over time depending upon the strength of the connection.

Any person placing a hand upon the forehead of a child or elder is passing energy.  We do this when embracing others, as we pass energy back and forth.  No one needs to be trained as we are all natural healers.  If young children are observed as they cradle dolls, animals or imaginary friends demonstrates the early presence of loving touch.

Numerous people have the gift of touch and report having this talent since early childhood.  Explore the use of loving touch to gardening, writing, painting, or cuddling and as the awareness of light increases, the energy will find a way to flow through!
