Beams Radiate Before Me

Today is my birthday so I am taking liberty to address the two parts of the whole: the masculine and the feminine, and the end result. 

My masculine side (right) has been resilient and dedicated.  It has been instrumental in providing services to those who were in need in spite of their age, limitation, or circumstance.  Both my voice and commitment were strong, recognized and accredited.  

Then there is the feminine side (left) that has been more or less a hot mess.  Primarily sensitive, observant, and loving, I tended to fill everyone's beating heart, but my own.  I loved so thoroughly, that my mates were elevated and I was minimized if not obscured.

Combining the masculine with the feminine I have created an alignment.  My path has stretched me when I was fearful and enhanced me  as life unfolded.  As I pull all of my parts together, I can finally look in the mirror and love who I see. Reflected is a flame  groomed to spread light into all hearts across the world.  And when I shall pass, I will follow the beams of light radiating before me.

Push Forward

Happiness arrives in our lives and we are ecstatic!  Our minds are filled with security, and our hearts feel as though they will be bursting with joy forever.  Eventually, however, the excitement wears off and we are living in a state of contentment. We do not want to present as being selfish by wanting to add more.

There is nothing wrong with pursuing situations continuing to expand and enhance our minds, bodies, and souls.  We have been made to be multi purpose, with varying degrees of skills and visions. Underlying our desire to pursue fear lurks. We don't want to risk disturbing the contentment in our comfort zone; but we can push ourselves forward.

If we happen to be young with little to no personal time, claim a point of interest and begin to make a collage on a large piece of cardboard.  Stick on a picture reflecting the goal representing the future, and repeat over a period of time.  If we have free time in our lives, let's claim it and strike out on a new adventure...go back to school, participate in local artistic workshops or plan a visit.  Utilize empty spaces and watch the dynamics of life begin to free flow!

Become Exposed

When we fail to regenerate our energy, we become very low keyed and complacent.  We can either be stagnant, wallowing in our comfort zone or miserable wallowing in our discomfort.  Action is the key to moving into change and change charges our batteries.  It gets our energy up and flowing!

The movement advances us towards a skill set we desire.   It doesn't matter if we are moving towards personal self improvement or a better job or a new dwelling space.  All of these require us to move and build our stamina.  There needs to be a change in our routine in order to produce a different outcome.

Be clear about what we seek, but not tightly bound to designated circumstances.  The Divine wants to help us, support us, and direct us which becomes difficult if we are too rigid.  Expect the unexpected. If we are so focused on just one scenario, we totally overlook an excellent opportunity as it doesn't present as we imagined.  Exposing ours lovely selves to change initiates growth, and growth thrusts us into a greater purpose of living.

Nothing But Love

I have removed my mask and shed my cloak.  My feet are bare, with a golden halo as my crown.  I grasp the extended hand, to love, share, and expand.  My eyes no longer behold the fear of harm, as I am protected by strong arms, wisdom and laughter.  

A trust worthy companion by my side, we explore the rising sun and follow the birds in flight.  We no longer face strangers and worry less about our plight, as we believe in the goal finally in our sight.  As the sun falls from the sky, we nestle in warm covers reflecting upon the life unexpectedly wedged between our dark nights.

Through the window of our souls, we gaze at the moon and whisper to the stars.  The falling stardust sprinkles mystery and visions, leaving plenty of room for mischievous games.  I have found there is no shame in becoming that naked lady on the horse with nothing but love to my name.
