Meditation Improves Memory Loss

"Through regular meditation practice, you can improve
your attention span and memory, among other cognitive abilities."
Virginia Rehabilitation and Wellness Studies

As we age, the slightest change in memory recall can push us into a spin fueled by fears of dementia. Maybe it is becoming more difficult to focus or resistance to change routines which ultimately hampers natural flow. Rather than investing in pharmaceuticals, apply personal power to create a meditation practice.

When we are challenged, clear thinking is reduced to scattered responses. Lacking in sleep, suffering from loss, and uncertain futures, all contribute to memory loss. Creating a simple but consistent meditation practice strengthens focus and enables the ability to retain more memory while working on a task.

Insight Timer for example is an appropriate free app that offers numerous guides, adjustable time settings, and diverse scenarios. Meditation will be like anything else ... the more you practice, the better it will work. With a beginner's mind, stay open and flexible. Confidence will increase and with patience, results will be readily noticed.
